Originally released on PC in 1994, Little Big Adventure (also known as Relentless: Twinsens Adventure) is an action-adventure RPG designed by Frédérick Raynal. 20 years later, a new version of this entertaining video game hit is being released, specially adapted for mobile phones.

You play as Twinsen, a young hero living on Citadel Island on a world under the heel of the dictator Dr. FunFrock. You’ve been having strange dreams in which your planet is about to be destroyed. These dreams don’t make Dr. FunFrock particularly happy, and he locks you away in an insane asylum. As Twinsen, you’ll need to escape from your cell and discover your incredible destiny as a descendant of a long line of magicians in charge of protecting your planet’s secret!

Return to the original world of Twinsen or discover it for the first time with the touchscreen version, which incorporates brand new features:
•New gameplay adapted to touch mode, adjustable throwing and jumping distance (visible trajectory), simplified sections, etc…
•Streamlined, easy-to-use interface

•Dynamic ON/OFF hint system
•Zoom feature to provide an overview of the scenes
•Automatic save system, with return to the last checkpoint when you lose a life

•Over 15 hours of gameplay
•A rich and varied blend of platform, combat and puzzle gaming

Pros and cons of Little Big Adventure - Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure app for iPhone and iPad

Little Big Adventure - Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure app good for

Thank you for bringing this to iOS. I loved the sequel when it came out and finally will play the first one. The porting work is perfect.
My first REAL adventure game Ive played and it will still be the best of all ! Cant wait to play the lba2 and would be just enormous to have a lba3 too.
The adaptation couldnt be better, keeping LBA pretty close to the original. Awesome job! Cant wait to ser you guys do the same thing with LBA2!
Somebody can help me? What I do in the Water Tower? I cant pass this scene :((((( The game is just perfect, nostalgy!
What a great game! Please guys go ahead and bring LBA 2 for us! And what we fans wait for so many years LBA 3!!!
I remember when I played this game on a Windows 98 computer, and there came the day I really had to get rid of that computer because of the new and latest ones, and I got so sad because this game would only run on the 98 and I thought this game would be forgotten forever. Imagine my happiness when my search for "Twinsen" in the App Store had a result! I bought it immediately! Its really just like the original game, except from the controls, of course. I confess that the controls are kind of lame sometimes, Twinsen will act really stupid sometimes, but I really prefer them over a joystick kind of control or something like that (I think that it would actually make it more difficult in some quests, specially in combat). I cant really think of better controls, though. I also would like if I could save my progress on an empty space with a custom name, just like in the original game, but it didnt really make much difference. I already finished the game, so PLEASE, make the second version of this game available for iOS too!!! I really cant wait!!!

Some bad moments

Wonderful to see this game on the App Store, but as it stands, it may be impossible to complete. Desperately needs to have save-anywhere support, background support and support for podcasts/music played over the game. But the biggest issue is the controls. The walk/jump controls are really imprecise and temperamental, the game becomes unplayable by the temple stage.
At points throughout the game you have to push objects. These super bad controls wont let you do this!!! Takes hours to move items. Super frustrating
This game was a favorite of mine back in the days of its original PC release, so theres a high nostalgia factor for me, but theres plenty here to appeal to newcomers. The world is immense, packed with exploration and intrigue, and the soundtrack is top-notch (although some of the voice work is a bit... Odd). My only complaint is the save system. Its either brutal and unforgiving, or I just dont understand how to use it.
A true gem from 20 years ago. Holds up to the test of time. Great story, music, and controls. A must buy for adventure/RPG fans. Thank you for making this game available again!
The only draw back to this game is the dumbing down of the searching and exploration by using icons to show you everything you can interact with. Other than that, every choice they made for the controls is an improvement on the original. Zoom and panning the camera, inventory HUD, auto selecting the interaction mode based on what you need to do, and perhaps best of all, you no longer loose life just by running in to something. Great game from the early 90s with an excellent port to the iPad!
I loved playing this game as a kid. I just bought it for iPhone 5s and pray that it is just as good as the original. I hope theyre working on the sequel as well. After playing it a little bit the controls are tricky at first but not all that bad. I have noticed though that I cant zoom in on the holo map. I dont know if this is a glitch or if it was like that originally. Either way with the small screen it makes it impossible to use the map to see where you are going.
