Thank you

Thank you for bringing this to iOS. I loved the sequel when it came out and finally will play the first one. The porting work is perfect.

Excellent!

My first REAL adventure game Ive played and it will still be the best of all ! Cant wait to play the lba2 and would be just enormous to have a lba3 too.

Simply great!

The adaptation couldnt be better, keeping LBA pretty close to the original. Awesome job! Cant wait to ser you guys do the same thing with LBA2!

What a great game! Please guys go ahead and bring LBA 2 for us! And what we fans wait for so many years LBA 3!!!

Best childhood game ever!!!!

I remember when I played this game on a Windows 98 computer, and there came the day I really had to get rid of that computer because of the new and latest ones, and I got so sad because this game would only run on the 98 and I thought this game would be forgotten forever. Imagine my happiness when my search for "Twinsen" in the App Store had a result! I bought it immediately! Its really just like the original game, except from the controls, of course. I confess that the controls are kind of lame sometimes, Twinsen will act really stupid sometimes, but I really prefer them over a joystick kind of control or something like that (I think that it would actually make it more difficult in some quests, specially in combat). I cant really think of better controls, though. I also would like if I could save my progress on an empty space with a custom name, just like in the original game, but it didnt really make much difference. I already finished the game, so PLEASE, make the second version of this game available for iOS too!!! I really cant wait!!!

Realy good port of a very good game!

The controls are really awesome! The game its self is a must have played classic anyways, so now its time to do that. Seems with the new controls it is now easier, regarding the old game was super hard. Two things I would really love to see in the next update are: some kind of pathfinding, you get stuck to easy on some tiny pixels or corners a manual save option, just let me save when ever I want please Thanks for bringing back this classic and please make LBA3!

Manuelles speichern wäre toll.

So many memories!

I used to play this back in the DOS days! Thanks for bringing it to the app store!

Perfect

Perfect re release of a perfect game. Great thought was put into the UI and controls and they work flawlessly.

Classic game!

This is a great port of the original game. The only issue I have so far is with movement. Because you have to press where u want to move to, your fingers get in the way of everything. I would suggest implementing a virtual thumbstick instead. Other than that its running great on my iPhone 5S!

I had no idea!

This is such an amazing computer game and Im so happy to see it has not yet disappeared completely. I will be so happy having it in my pocket all the time!

pretty good but...

this a pretty good port of the original game, everything is there. The controls are very well done but with some flaws mostly due the limitations of a touch screen: jumping and otherwise aiming is difficult as you cant see your target through your finger/thumb. scrolling the map without moving Twinsen is difficult and sometimes risky. Its hard to tell the game you want to jump rather than throw a ball and vice versa. The game and its puzzles are built around the original controls which can get very frustrating with especially those dealing with time sensitive jumps while being shot at. Aside from those flaws the game is a very true port. Good job.

Great game and port but could be better!

First things first. The game itself is amazing! I encourage anyone who is interested in video games to pick this one up since its so cheap. The story is great and the overall puzzles and gameplay is way ahead of its time. That being said this port suffers a few issues in the controls department. It takes a little getting used to get used to the controls in this game which is unfortunate. Once you do the game gets a lot better but it isnt perfect. I think a better control scheme would be one like the one in final fantasy 3 I think in which you could press anywhere on the screen and get a control pad and also an additional jump button as well as going back to the old 4 movement styles ..

Great remake of a great classic

I had this game on dos. My dos version had a bug that never allowed me to finish it. But this version doesnt have that issue. I finally finished a game i first started 17 years ago.

Great game, not so great controls

Loved this game as a kid. Seems like a very faithful port, but the controls are really hard to get used to. At the very least, itd be nice for Twinsen to have a pathing system if were gonna have a tap-to-walk approach. Or just an onscreen pad like has been suggested. Otherwise, this is great

Controls ruin a great game

Wonderful to see this game on the App Store, but as it stands, it may be impossible to complete. Desperately needs to have save-anywhere support, background support and support for podcasts/music played over the game. But the biggest issue is the controls. The walk/jump controls are really imprecise and temperamental, the game becomes unplayable by the temple stage.

Wonderful classic game minor issues

- The game is exactly how I remember it. Very good gameplay most the controls are very well thought out. - Aiming and jumping is tricky however as you cannot see through your finger... Especially playing on a smaller screen its very fiddly. Have yet to try it out on an iPad. - Very glad someone has redone this, brings back so many memories. - Could use a game save feature as its not always possible to complete certain areas in one go, hence having to redo some parts multiple times in order to progress. Seems to save to the most recent area you have moved into.

Twinsen is Fabulous

It brings back all the good old memories of the days playing Twinsen on my first computer. After 15 years I finally get through the game completely. It is like a dream that comes true. Despite the challenge of the controlling Twinsen on iPad by fingers, all is perfect! thanks so much for the crew to make this happen after all these years! For me, its worth the wait.
